Payout Policy for Yazas

How Yaza earnings move from a paid session to Airtel Money or TNM Mpamba.

Last updated 2 February 2026

1.Payout Eligibility

A Yaza can receive a payout after KYC is approved and a payout method is saved. Earnings come from confirmed sessions, group sessions, and exam-pack sales.

2.Commission Deductions

YazaFinder keeps 10 percent of the amount the student paid. A MWK 3,500 session leaves MWK 3,150. A MWK 4,200 exam pack leaves MWK 3,780. The net amount is what can be paid out.

3.Available vs. Pending Balances

A new earning is pending while the session or purchase can still be disputed. After that hold it becomes available. Only the available balance can be requested.

4.Payout Schedule

You request a payout from earnings in the app. PayChangu sends it to the Airtel Money or TNM Mpamba number you saved. The provider decides how soon the wallet shows the money.

5.Minimum Payout Thresholds

A payout is requested from the available balance. If a minimum applies, the earnings screen states it before you confirm. Amounts under that minimum stay available until a later request.

6.PayChangu Processing

Disbursements run through PayChangu to Airtel Money and TNM Mpamba. You are responsible for the number you enter. YazaFinder does not repay a transfer sent to a number you saved in error.

7.Security Verification

KYC uses your National ID, student ID, and transcript. We can pause payouts if those documents are missing, expired, or do not match the account.

8.Payout Holds

An open dispute, a chargeback, or a review of the account can hold the related earning. The hold ends when the review ends. The rest of an available balance is not held unless the review says so.

9.Chargebacks & Reversals

If a student payment is reversed or a dispute is decided for the student, the related earning is removed from pending or available. A payout already sent can be recovered from later earnings.

10.Invoices & Receipts

Each sale shows the gross amount, the commission, the net amount, and whether it is pending, available, or paid. You can open that record from earnings in the app.

11.Tax Responsibilities

You are responsible for declaring and paying any tax due on your earnings in Malawi. YazaFinder does not withhold tax unless the law later requires it.

12.Payout Disputes

If a payout fails or the amount looks wrong, write to hello@yazafinder.app with the payout reference and the wallet number. Include the session or exam-pack sale it came from.

13.Yaza Financial Support

Payout questions go to hello@yazafinder.app or +265 981 819 389. For a student dispute about a session, use the dispute flow so both sides are on the record.
